Privacy, by design.

Skyline Ready is built to help Android users plan storage and protect completed media without sending original photos or videos to us.

The Android app

Skyline Ready asks for access to photos and videos only when you start a media inventory. The app reads the items available through Android's permission model and keeps the inventory in memory while the app is running.

When you choose an archive destination, the app streams selected files directly through Android's Storage Access Framework. Original media, thumbnails, forecasts, destination files, and verification receipts are not uploaded to Skyline Ready servers.

The app stores local verification receipts in its private app storage. A receipt contains item names, Android content URIs, byte counts, SHA-256 values, and a verification result; it does not contain the media bytes. Uninstalling the app removes its private app data according to Android's normal lifecycle.

Deletion stays under Android's control

Skyline Ready does not silently delete media. An item must pass byte-count and SHA-256 read-back verification first. If you choose to make room, Android presents its own confirmation interface. The app then checks the provider result and keeps unresolved items visible.

The public website

The browser forecast runs locally in your browser. It does not read your device storage or send forecast inputs to Skyline Ready.

If you submit the early-access or design-partner form, you must explicitly agree that Skyline Ready may contact you about early access. The contact and workflow fields you provide, together with the consent version and timestamp recorded by the database, are sent to the site's serverless endpoint. When the site is configured for production, those fields are stored in a Supabase database for the purpose of responding to the request. They are not used to upload or inspect media, and they are not rendered in a public page.

The site uses Vercel to host its pages and endpoint and Supabase to store submitted lead details when configured. The free deployment may be unavailable until its server environment is configured.

Your choices

You can deny or later change Android media permissions in system settings. You can cancel a scan or archive operation. You can cancel Android's deletion confirmation, and no media is removed in that case.

To ask about a website submission or request that it be removed, use the form on the early-access page and describe the request without including media or sensitive information.

Security and changes

The app is designed offline-first and uses Android permission and file-picker boundaries. No security measure is perfect; keep independent copies of important media and review the destination selected in Android before archiving.

This policy will be updated when the product or its data practices change. The effective date at the top indicates the current version.
